Courses Offered in Library Science (LIB SCI)

The LAVC Library offers classes you can take for college credit! A great investment in your future, these classes teach how to effectively find information for any class (at LAVC and beyond), on the job, and in your personal life. Most LIB SCI classes are online and last 8 weeks (half a semester), usually offered in Fall and Spring. For students with little time to spare, we offer a 1-unit option, and a more in-depth 3-unit course for students desiring a deeper dive. For more information, please contact the Library Department Chair.
