When accessing Library resources from off-campus, you will encounter a login screen and will need to enter your library login (formerly known as UIA). In this example, you will see how the login screen is triggered when accessing our databases.
Below the OneSearch box, click "Databases" to see a complete list of available article, news, video, etc. databases.
Chose the database most appropriate for your research needs. You can search database titles alphabetically, by type, or by subject.
When you select a database, you will be prompted to login using your username and password:
What is my library login?
Your student library login is the unique part of your LACCD email address (everything before the "@"), and your password is your four digit date of birth (for example, if your birthday is April 25, 1995, your password is 0425).
Faculty and staff can now log in with the same LAVC Credentials you use for your office computer and wi-fi on campus (which are different from how you log into your work email, Canvas, etc.) If you have previously requested a library login from us, it should continue to work.
