Off Campus Access to Library Resources: Home

Want to read an article or ebook off campus? Stream a video or listen to music? Here's how it works.

When accessing Library resources from off-campus, you will encounter a login screen and will need to enter your library login (formerly known as UIA). In this example, you will see how the login screen is triggered when accessing our databases.

Below the OneSearch box, click "Databases" to see a complete list of available article, news, video, etc. databases.

Chose the database most appropriate for your research needs. You can search database titles alphabetically, by type, or by subject.

When you select a database, you will be prompted to login using your username and password:

What is my library login?

For Students:

Your student library login is the unique part of your LACCD email address (everything before the "@"), and your password is your four digit date of birth (for example, if your birthday is April 25, 1995, your password is 0425).

Don't know your LACCD email? Follow these instructions to locate your email address.

For Faculty:

To request a Faculty library login, please email the library at and we will get you one as soon as possible.

Begin searching the database of your choice.
