When accessing Library resources from off-campus, you will encounter a login screen and will need to enter your library login. In the example below, you will see how the login screen is triggered when accessing our databases. Additionally, instructional videos can be found by clicking on the Login Videos tab at the top of this guide.
Chose the database most appropriate for your research needs. You can search database titles alphabetically, by type, or by subject.
When you select a database, you will be prompted to login using your username and password (see screenshot, below):
What is my library login?
Your student library login is the unique part of your LACCD email address (everything before the "@"), and your password is your four digit date of birth (for example, if your birthday is April 25, 1995, your password is 0425). Instructional videos in English, Armenian, and Spanish located on the next page of this guide.
Don't know your LACCD email? Follow these instructions to locate your email address.
Faculty and staff can now log in with the same LAVC Credentials you use for your office computer and wi-fi on campus (which are different from how you log into your work email, Canvas, etc.) If you have previously requested a library login from us, it should continue to work.
