How To Reach Us

There are multiple ways to reach a librarian for support. You can receive real-time, 24/7 assistance from a reference librarian via our chat box, below. To email an LAVC librarian, use ref@lavc.libanswers.com or submit your question through the form below. During business hours, we endeavor to respond within an hour. We may also be able to follow-up via phone if you provide your number.

For Summer Session I (June 14 to July 18), LAVC librarians are available via email and chat during business hours: Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Fridays 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. For Summer Session II (July 19 - August 22), business hours are Monday - Thursday 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. We endeavor to respond to email inquires within an hour. LAVC librarians are unavailable weekends and College holidays (though our chat service is still available).
