We are closed weekends and College holidays. Spring semester holidays are Friday, February 14 - Monday, February 17 (Presidents' Day Holidays), Monday, March 31 (Cesar Chavez Holiday), Monday, April 7 - Sunday, April 13 (Spring Break), Thursday, April 24 (Genocide Remembrance Day), and Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day Holiday).
LAVC Librarians are also available to assist students in a virtual setting. We endeavor to respond to email inquiries within an hour during business hours.
Though LAVC librarians are unavailable weekends and College holidays, 24/7 chat assistance is available.

The library is the first floor of the LARC building (LARC = Library and Academic Resource Center). The LARC building is located on the western edge of campus, off Fulton, near the Hatteras roundabout. There is short term and permitted parking along the west side of the building.
