We are closed weekends and College holidays. Fall 2025 holidays are Labor Day (Monday, Sept 1), Veterans Day (Tuesday, Nov. 11), and Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 27 - Friday, Nov. 28).
LAVC Librarians are also available to assist students in a virtual setting. We endeavor to respond to email inquiries within an hour during business hours.
Though LAVC librarians are unavailable weekends and College holidays, 24/7 chat assistance is available.

The library is the first floor of the LARC building (LARC = Library and Academic Resource Center). The LARC building is located on the western edge of campus, off Fulton, near the Hatteras roundabout. There is short term and permitted parking along the west side of the building.
