Sources You Need to Find for Your Library Assignment

For your Library Assignment, you will need to find the following types of sources, all relating to William Shakespeare. At least 2 must be print sources (for example, print books)

You can find everything using OneSearch EXCEPT a work of art and a film -- see the menu on the left for where to find those.

  • An article in a Newspaper
    • OneSearch SEARCH HINT: use check box on your left to limit your results to News
  • A Review (about a play production or book about Shakespeare)
    • OneSearch SEARCH HINT: use the keywords   shakespeare AND book reviews
  • An article in a Scholarly Journal
    • OneSearch SEARCH HINT: use check box on your left to limit your results to Academic Journals
  • Two or more works by the same author
  • A Book by a Single Author
    • OneSearch SEARCH HINT: use check box on your left to limit your results to "Books (not ebooks)"
  • Periodical Publication in an Online Database
    • OneSearch SEARCH HINT: use check box on your left to limit your results to Magazines
  • An Interview (ex. An interview with a director of an actor in a Shakespearean production)
    • OneSearch SEARCH HINT: use the keywords   shakespeare AND interviews
  • A Work of Art  (a painting or artwork of Shakespeare or an element (scene or character in  a Shakespeare play)
  • A Film (a film version of a play or documentary about Shakespeare)
